Jennifer Harris is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) and an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC). Jennifer has four years of counseling experience with a diverse clientele who experience anxiety disorders, depression, and post traumatic stress disorder and couples with communication issues. 

Jennifer earned an Associate of Arts degree in Behavioral Sciences, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Philosophy, and a Master of Arts in Counseling. Jennifer is currently a doctoral candidate in Counselor Education and Supervision. Jennifer's dissertation is focused on Attachment and Relationship Satisfaction in Couples with a History of Childhood Emotional Abuse.

Jennifer  works from a humanistic school of thought that is person-centered. Jennifer employs inner child work, solution focused therapy, individual psychology, feminist therapy, multicultural counseling, family systems, Gottman principles, and Emotionally Focused Therapy techniques.

Jennifer is supervised by Ellen Bersch, LMFT who has been licensed over 30 years working with the LGBTQ community, AIDS/HIV, public health, domestic violence survivors, and community mental health. Ellen works from psychodynamic and humanistic schools of thought.
